Kenneth Heath’s questline in Elden Ring is a bit of a shocker. Public Engagement has attempted to uncover every secret in the game to uncover almost every secret hidden in the Lands Between, but part of Kenneth Heath’s quest is still unknown. Here’s what we know so far about how to complete the quest and what you can get if you decide to downgrade your service.
To start the quest for Kenneth Heath, you need to find him among the ruins of Limgrave. The closest location to Grace is Mistwood Outskirts. From there, follow the road northeast until you see a large pillar along the way.
Climb to the top and you will find Kenneth Heath. Speak to him and you will be tasked with clearing the site of his ancestor Fort Heath and bringing him to power as ruler of the Limgrave.
To reach Fort Heath, you can either continue on the path through Eastwood or directly cut through the forests facing south-southeast. Fort Heath is located on the southeast coast of the region. Fight then return to Kenneth, where you found him earlier.
As a reward for your efforts, Haiti will give you an Erdsteel Dagger. Examine the dialogue options and he will offer you a chance to do his job. Take it, then return to Fort Heath. It will be covered in demi-humans. Clear them out and use the stairs to find Kenneth, who looks rather annoyed.
A strange quest is taking place here. Kenneth complains about the absence of the Lordgrave Lord and says he will find him. But if there is a next step, no one has been able to find the next step in their search. Some players believe the quest was cut from the rest of the content or will be enhanced in a future DLC release. So far, there doesn’t seem to be anything else to do with Kenneth.
If you’re feeling greedy, you can kill it to get the Golden Seed. Otherwise, it’s the end of the road for Kenneth – at least for now.
