MultiVersus has announced that the release of Season 1 and Morty have been postponed to a “later date”.
The team announced the delay on Twitter, saying they are “dedicated to delivering new and exciting content that delights players.” The exact reason for the delay has yet to be revealed, but the news is likely to be disappointing for many.
The announcement after the start of the game’s open beta shows that the developers felt the need to continue developing and working on the game.
“Big thanks to everyone playing MultiVersus,” he tweeted. It’s exciting to see so many players enjoying the game, and the open beta launch is just the beginning. “We want everyone to know that we have postponed the start of Season 1 and the release of Morty to a later date. We know this can be frustrating for some, and we want to assure you that we are committed to providing new and exciting content to our community. It makes players happy.”

Morty from Rick and Morty was one of the first additional characters announced to join the cast, but now fans will have to wait a bit longer for him to appear.
Developer Player First Games has yet to announce a new release date for Seaosn 1 and Morty, saying, “We’ll let you know the timeline as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and enthusiasm and we look forward to announcing soon. season 1.”
