With the wild success of GTA Online continuing nearly a decade after its release, it’s easy to wonder why Rockstar hasn’t taken an integrated approach like Call of Duty’s Warzone experience.
However, as fans like Reddit user u/LeeChaolanComeOn pointed out in the thread above, this may not be possible for technical reasons. As GTA 6 will be built on a new engine, simply combining the experience may not be easy.
