“Data is one of the biggest assets of a company. Having a huge amount of valuable information about our customers can play a decisive role in the development of products and services, in improving our service channels and internal processes. SAP has provided us with a cloud solution that collects this multi-source data and aggregates it in an automated and intelligent way,” explained Norberto Maraschin Filho, VP Consumption and Mobility at Positivo Tecnologia.
SAP Customer Data Platform processes large volumes of data in real time and allows you to extract valuable business insights through integration, reliability, and control. SAP Emarsys Customer Engagement is a marketing tool that puts into action targeted campaigns based on data that CDP consolidates and segments to help a company better engage with customers to build conversations and strengthen relationships.
In addition to understanding behavior and trends, with artificial intelligence predictions and clustering wholesale, with a well-defined data structure, Positivo Tecnologia has identified opportunities to sell and monetize the information generated from its database, while still valuing one of its most important assets and actively managing its big data.
“SAP solutions do this job of understanding customer behavior and differentiating characteristics to make communication more personalized and even take advantage of opportunities to cross selling”, added Alexandre Benini, vice president of SAP Customer Experience. “With greater knowledge and closer relationships, Positivo Tecnologia will be able to offer mobile accessories to a cell phone buyer or a subscription streaming service partnership to a laptop buyer,” he explained.
Another important point when concluding contracts for solutions was the high level of data management that SAP provides. With new General Data Protection Act (LGPD) regulations coming into effect that require an extra level of care with information and its handling, Positivo Tecnologia was looking for market-recognised data security and privacy solutions. “It’s important to combine customer data and goals to understand how they want to interact with us. Respecting this intent when using interaction systems based on permissions defined directly by clients is essential,” said Norberto.
Positivo Tecnologia, which was already a back office customer of SAP, was awarded a contract for new cloud solutions in December. The implementation was completed in May with the involvement of the SAP team in the project. This aspect is considered distinctive for a company that includes the brands Positivo, Positivo Casa Inteligente, Positivo Servers & Solutions, Positivo Tech Services, Positivo As a Service, VAIO, Compaq, Anker, Infinix, 2A.M and Educacional.
