Fans of 2018 action-RPG Ashen have been watching developer A44’s next game on the horizon – Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. This open world title depicts a world devoured by conflict and the struggle for survival. On the brink of extinction, players join forces such as Knock Vanek and Enki, a coalition of soldiers and mystical creatures, to battle waves of the aggressive dead on the side of the living.
“Get revenge, gunpowder, and magic and embark on an epic journey to wage the final siege of humanity,” the game’s description reads.
Yes, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn will be available on the latest and next-gen PlayStation platforms, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
It will also be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Ashen has been critically acclaimed for its Dark Souls-like gameplay and epic storytelling that the A44 undoubtedly turns into Flintlock. Players will be able to battle inventive creatures with a combination of an ax and a witch to unleash powerful combos and “capture your creativity in every encounter”.
War will likely be an integral part of the game as players traverse vast deserts, corrosive ruins, and dangerous worlds and enter the City of Dawn to unravel the mysteries that could prevail in “The Last Siege Against the gods”.
