One of the most recent Skyrim mods from the prolific modder Trainwiz makes no attempt to create new stories for your companions or improve the state of your marriage in Tamriel. No, it transforms all the dragons without exception of the role-playing game in the state of Ohio. Why not. you can see it in Twitter if you want to see the Ohio Dragon in action, rampaging across the landscape and striking fear into everyone.
Ohio definitely had a tough year. First, a war-torn, plague-stricken land of Caelid at the height of the Elden Ring in early 2022, when you couldn’t move due to the number of memes on social media, is now equated with scaly, bloodthirsty merchants of fatality. I assure you, when Ohio is a land of rivers that turn orange and often burn, it’s perhaps understandable that some people look askance at the state and use it as fuel for jokes about dragons and desolation.
No matter what you think of Ohio, it’s almost impossible not to laugh when you see the giant figure of Ohio falling from the sky, spitting fire, rising through the air and spinning horizontally to fly – incredible scenes. I will always be grateful to Trainwiz for leaving the sound of the dragon intact, because there is nothing better than hearing the roar of Ohio in all its majestic glory.
It was certainly a hit on NexusMods, where the mod received over 7,000 views in a single day, and commenters joked about the mod’s abysmal accuracy. One even asked if Florida would be next, and as someone who has spent most of my life in Florida, I can safely say that would be appropriate.
