Potential Ashen A44 creator players want to know: Is Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn cross-platform?
Cross-platform compatibility has grown tremendously in popularity since it hit the gaming field. In the console department, with so many platforms available on PC, Mac, and now mobile, gamers have a greater desire for agency when it comes to is the playground.
Flint: Siege of Dawn is no exception. This upcoming open-world game will challenge players to take on an army of the dead that has nothing but axes, magic, weapons, and a coalition army. They will be tasked with taking the gods for their future, which could be humanity’s last seat.
As of this writing, it’s still unclear whether gamers can expect a platformer from Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. Currently, A44’s alias Ashen doesn’t offer this feature yet, so it’s unlikely to be Flintlock.
However, that doesn’t mean it will never have cross-platform mechanics. Player pressure convinced many developers to add features that might have been overlooked before. It’s still possible if enough fans ask the developer to at least rethink this issue.
Flintlock, of course, has a cross-platform play prerequisite – meaning the game will be available on a variety of platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
Should the A44 state its position regarding platform features, this article will be updated to reflect that additional information.
You can find more information about the game in the Steam listing.
