Annapurna Interactive has announced that Outer Wilds will receive a free update to add 60fps support to Xbox and PlayStation.
Annapurna Interactive held its second annual fair a few days ago, where it updates gamers on a variety of new and upcoming games. Publisher Stray has offered a closer look at Thirsty Suitors, a new RPG that combines dating sims with skateboarding and turn-based strategy.
Additionally, a new project has been announced by Cardboard Computer, developers of Kentucky Route Zero. Although the studio didn’t release a trailer, it did give fans a quick look at the modeling work being done for the project.
But it was Outer Wild fans who were hoping to hear the announcements during this show. Last year, the developers announced at the Annapurna Fair that Outer Wilds would be getting a Switch port. The Nintendo Switch version isn’t out yet, but developers Mobius Digital assured fans He said he was still on his way.

But what they did reveal is that the Xbox Series X | Outer Wilds’ S and PlayStation 5 are reportedly getting a free update that adds 60fps support to the game.
A free 60fps update for Outer Wilds is currently scheduled for September 15, 2022 for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
