Henry Cavill, the actor from the third season of Superman and The Witcher, is well known for being a huge geek, whether it’s for the Warhammer babble or the claim that the PC is the best gaming platform (he’s right, ya). you know). He is now back with new Henry Cavill PC updates that may have something to do with The Witcher Netflix shutting down due to Covid.
First the bad news. Due to an unspecified Covid-19 outbreak, production on Netflix’s The Witcher Season 3 has been suspended and “will begin as soon as it is safe to do so”. Filming for the third season began in April 2022 and features several new characters.
This means that Geralt himself, Henry Cavill, has some spare time and decided to upgrade his computer once again after building it himself in 2020. As Cavill notes on Instagram, “my AIO cooler decided to get rid of me” due to traffic and the absurd Heatwave in the UK lately. “Ohhh, replacing it,” he says, “I decided to upgrade my fans too.”
Cavill appears to have opted for a set of four Noctua fans, which are among the best CPU coolers out there, so this is a solid option. “I have two more nearing completion of the set,” he adds, “but I got impatient and installed the ones I had anyway.”
As for those wondering why temperatures still show a shockingly high 64 degrees for the CPU and 68 degrees for the GPU, Cavill says, “Don’t worry, those temperatures are in the game.” We reached out to Henry to ask what game he plays because we really need to know. Don’t leave us like this, S-man.
In other Witcher news, The Witcher 4 is on the way and uses Unreal Engine 5, so like Henry Cavill, you’ll need some of the best gaming hardware on PC to run it when it finally releases.
