Amount Leaks are dead in daylight. potentially revealing important details about the second Resident Evil crossover that was announced during the sixth anniversary celebration. New Dead By Daylight Resident Evil Project W chapter leaks reveal Wesker’s killer, survivors Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers, and cool chase music.
Following the success of the latest Dead by Daylight and Resident Evil collaboration to coincide with the horror game’s fifth anniversary in 2021, rumors circulated and then developer Behavior Interactive confirmed that a second collaboration, titled “Project W”, is on the way.
It soon became known that in the next chapter, Albert Wesker would become the new killer (hence the “W”), while Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers would become playable survivors. Now, a first look at the character models for each of them has been leaked online via DbDLeaks – with all his classic sports performances.
A series of details about Wesker also fled, including his killer name “Mastermind”. He can jump faster, see survivors when he carries a downed player (sigh), and can even transform into his Resident Evil 5 form to run around and infect survivors. As he does, his chase music turns into a terrifying cacophony.
These are all leaks that haven’t been announced yet, so don’t consider them conclusive. As for when we’ll see the second chapter of Resident Evil, it’s unclear if we’ll see it before Stranger Things returns in Dead by Daylight. We’ll have to wait and see.
