The next domino on the NBA 2K23 hype track officially dropped when 2K released its “first look” trailer on Friday.
As most of the NBA 2K community would probably expect given we’re relatively early in the game, this trailer would showcase gameplay from the next-gen version of NBA 2K23, but given the lack of , it looks more like a cinematic reel. a hit counter. From the debut of Jabbawockeez to the addition of Steph Curry Night Night and Ja Morant Griddy’s celebrations to the game, here’s the NBA 2K23 First Look trailer.
The NBA 2K23 First Look trailer is about a minute long and shows the current and brightest names in basketball doing what they do best.
First, we’ll look at recently rejuvenated Jordan Poole and Jose Alvarado who deserve it given the seasons they’ve had recently.

Additionally, NBA 2K23 WNBA Edition athletes Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird are looking good, raising hopes that this will be a year where players can use their WNBA teams online against friends and others.
Perhaps the most underrated update revealed in this trailer is Marcus Smart’s 43-second mark showing off his green hair from that last playoff.
To close out the trailer, we take an in-depth look at Standard Edition cover athlete Devin Booker. With a “BeLegendary” KB24 dedication quote written on his purple Kobe, the DBook’s face and hair are far better than anything in 2K so far.
Ultimately, it was a solid drop to kick off the NBA 2K23 excitement train again. More details about the game will be revealed next week, according to NBA 2K Twitter.
