Ready to reinstall Hitman 3, 47? If you sent the last part of the World of Assassination trilogy to the vault, you may want to send it back. Hitman 3’s latest update is out now and adds a new free level to the sandbox game that takes place on a tropical island surrounded by sharks and infested with rebels and pirates.
On Ambrose Island, you will hunt down and eliminate Noel Cross, a former assistant to Lucas Gray, who has since gone rogue and created his own gang of international thieves. He came to Ambrose Island to make contact with your other target, a pirate leader named Akka. Together, they plan to raid an oil tanker crossing the Straits of Malacca to steal the control module for an important satellite.
Gray is itching to get rid of Cross, and Agent 47’s handlers at the ACA have already secured a contract with Akka that provides the perfect cover. Destroying Akka would have meant covering the cost of attacking Krest, so 47 should ideally hunt them both down in the island’s dense forest. Of course, you can always try to find out when and where they will meet.
Here is the trailer:
Like other locations in Hitman 3, Ambrose Island has its own set of unlockable items and weapons. There are 20 levels of progression and you will be able to earn the new Vomit Gas Grenade, Molotov Cocktail, Guerrilla Suit and Kukri Machete as you progress.
Ambrose Island is free for all Hitman 3 players, whether you play on Steam, the Epic Games Store, or the PC Game Pass version. It doesn’t appear as a standalone DLC, so all you need to do is update your copy of the game to the latest version for it to appear. It also supports ray tracing, VR, and contract mode, so you can mix and match your own missions if you’re feeling creative.
