The Champions of Chaos Lord Pack will be released for the strategy game Total War: Warhammer 3 alongside the combined Immortal Empires campaign next month, and Creative Assembly has revealed the second leader included in the collection. Here’s the thing: Festus is a Chaos Daemon that cooks his own plagues and creates additional souls to do so. His vassals take poison attacks and spread Nurgle’s corruption in his lands. He adds +3 turns to blight duration for local armies, and his army gets a 25% bonus to their heal limit. Everything is going well.
Throwing things into chaos is a line from his backstory: “Long forgotten of the Hippocratic Oath he preached with such passion as mortal, Festus can be found brewing numerous terrifying potions and casting Lore of Nurgle spells, which They allow you to cunningly manipulate the battlefield.”
The suggestion that the Daemon of Nurgle knows, and once practiced, the Hippocratic Oath is incredible knowledge, isn’t it? Hippocrates is credited with being the first physician to believe that illnesses were the result of natural causes rather than punishment from the gods, and his famous oath, still recited by physicians, includes the saying, “First do no harm.” . . “.
