SplitSide Games and publisher Daedalic have just announced “Fling-a-Thon”: a community tournament running from July 25 to August 8 for their wacky co-op racing game Fling to the Finish. Along with this friendly competition, Fling to the Finish adds new cosmetic items for players, as well as a new permanent game mode called “Ring-a-thon”. The game will be discounted to commemorate the event and update.

AT Rush to the finish line , teams of two race through colorful and chaotic obstacle courses connected by an elastic cord. Depending on your communication skills, this rope can be your biggest asset or your worst enemy – just like the friend you’re tied to. The Fling-a-thon tournament this summer will really allow players to showcase their throwing skills. . Team Modern and Team Old compete against each other in three tournaments for ultimate glory as well as exclusive skins, stickers and banners. As an added bonus during Fling-a-thon, every race in the game will include speed boosts and extra obstacles to make racing even more ridiculous!

The new Ring-a-thon mode adds speed boost gates to send players through nasty obstacles at previously unattainable speeds. But be careful – it’s raining darts from the sky! Besides “Fling-a-thon” and “Ring-a-thon” Rush to the finish line adds a new progression system where players can level up to unlock new character cosmetics, as well as fun banners and stickers to personalize their playable characters.
