Papers, Please will officially release for mobile readers on iOS and Android on August 5, 2022.
Through the efforts of developer Lucas Pope and publisher 3909, Paper, Please has been widely touted as an example of empathy gaming and a demonstration of video games as an art form.
The game has been nominated for various awards by the Independent Games Festival, Game Developers Choice Awards, and BAFTA Video Games Awards, and was named Best Game of 2013 by The New Yorker, Wired, Ars Technica, and PCWorld.
Papers Please turn 3 today. 1.8 million units were sold across all platforms/packages/sales. Thank you everyone! pic.twitter.com/yoUjsKZQTo

In August 2016, Pope tweeted that Papers, Please had sold over 1.8 million copies.
The newspaper asks players to replace a border control officer in the fictional country of Arstotska in 1982. Although the task is only to check the documents of immigrants who wish to enter the country, the difficulties increase as players progress. More and more tools are being used to identify who immigrants are.
There are said to be over 20 different endings and an endless mode, which undoubtedly reveals why players have been hooked on the game for so long.
