After all, the release date for The Last of Us on PC may not be too far away. The Last of Us Part 1 Remake is scheduled to release on PS5 in September, but is currently on hold when the PC version launches. However, developer Naughty Dog suggests that The Last of Us Part 1 is coming to PC “very soon” after the PS5.
Back in June, Sony and Naughty Dog confirmed that The Last of Us remake would be coming to both PS5 and PC, and it’s not too far off anyway, at least for PlayStation owners. While the original has several releases already, The Last of Us Part 1 is coming to PS5 for the first time on September 2, with a PC version “shortly after.”
But when? We’re still waiting for Naughty Dog’s Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection to get a PC release date, and it’s coming to PS5 in early 2022.
However, while it’s not yet a firm release date, Naughty Dog Senior Ambient Texture Artist Jonathan Benainus i went to twitter to assure fans that the PC version of The Last of Us will be released “a little later but very soon after the release of the PS5.” He also adds that the team “put a lot of passion into creating this game and I hope it shows.”
I’m glad to know that you are an exaggerated person! The PC version should be released a bit later, but very soon after the PS5 release!

This is very good news for anyone who finally wants to play The Last of Us on PC so hopefully “very soon” Naughty Dog won’t be like Valve time or something and we’ll see a remake in 2022, just like Uncharted.
However, despite recent rumors, don’t expect to see The Last of Us skins in Fortnite, as this has been officially denied by Naughty Dog.
