There are rumors on the net about the supposed performance of the Nvidia RTX 4090 Ti, and it seems that the “first gaming result” for the next generation GPU has emerged. New leaks suggest that the green team’s next best graphics card can run Control at 4K 160fps with ray tracing and DLSS enabled, all of which require a very powerful cooler.
On twitter, XpeaGPU says Nvidia RTX4090Ti you can achieve over 160fps on Control with settings set to ultra. According to insiders, the “full AD102” GPU used “high power”, but the tipster warns that they’re not sure if that means overclocking. The leak also lacks gaming PC benchmark specs, making it difficult to compare the card’s performance to current-gen variants such as the RTX 3090 Ti.
Beyond the gaps in benchmarks, performance comparisons are already showing up online. RTX 3090 Ti Benchmarks Posted By Writer Wccftech Hassan Mujtaba they suggest that the RTX 4090 Ti is theoretically twice as fast. Trusted tipster Kopite7kimi also joined the conversation and claimed that the GPU is an “800W beast”.
what’s more save 7kimi it says “The AD102 PCB is very small, but its cooler is very large.” This somewhat corroborates previously leaked 3D renders, which depict the design we describe as “pristine”.
RTX 4090 Ti AD102 GPU Rumors
We’d recommend responding to these latest RTX 4000 leaks with an added dose of skepticism, as the RTX 4090 Ti Control benchmarks in question are somewhat mixed. Whether the full AD102 SKU will become an actual product is currently unknown, and Nvidia has yet to officially confirm the next-gen specs.
However, the Nvidia RTX 4090 is expected to go on sale in October, so we may know more about the upgraded version after it debuts. There’s already reason to believe it will offer twice the performance of the RTX 3090, meaning the Ti variant could raise the bar for gaming PCs even further.
