New characters: Daisy and Shy Boy
At launch, Mario Strikers: Battle League had 10 characters on its ready-to-play roster, unlike Mario Strikers: Charged it had 12 team captains and eight Sidekicks for players to unlock.
Fittingly, this upcoming update includes the addition of two fan-favorite characters, Daisy and Shy Guy.
According to Nintendo, Daisy will be a Technique-type character whose ingenious launch and Flower Spiral Hyper Strike rivals will continue to predict.
Meanwhile, Shy Guy is considered an all-around player who can easily adapt to players’ personal playstyles and has a Propeller Dive Hyper Strike.
New Equipment: Knight
Additionally, Mario Strikers: Battle League will add a new type of equipment called Knight, which specializes in increasing character strength and shooting at the expense of other attributes.
New Stadium: Desert Ruin
Finally, Desert Ruin Stadium makes its debut in this update. In addition to using Desert Ruins Stadium in matches, players can also set it as their club’s stadium.
Mario Strikers: Battle League is currently only available on Nintendo Switch.
