While our heads tell us that the best PC case is one that offers the features to get the most out of our components, it’s hard to ignore the heart’s desire for a stylish case. With that in mind, I can’t be the only one who wants to turn my gaming rig into a Gundam after seeing these examples from Xigmatek.
Of the three Gundam-inspired PC cases, the Battleship X is arguably the most eye-catching. Inspired by the iconic RX-78-2, it features a furry color scheme and looks like a costume in the form of etched artwork on the tempered glass side panels.
Despite its irregular shape, the Battleship X is compatible with motherboards with standard ATX layouts and leaves room for 200mm power supplies and up to a 240mm radiator. Naturally, it also has built-in ARGB stripes that run along the sides and across the front.
Those who prefer smaller systems might like the X3 GD and X3 Zaku. None of them are as bold as the Battleship X, but they do have more prominent visuals and we were particularly impressed by the chibi skins on their front panels.
Most of the stock of these PC cases seems to be in the eastern markets, so you’ll need to find a retailer willing to export them if you want to own one of these Gundam chassis.
