The Lost Ark team showed up at Twitchcon and brought with them some items that fans couldn’t resist: Mokoko Seeds. Not real, of course. it was a party cute mucoco merch, with seed stickers and a smiling Mokoko lamp to brighten up your bedside table. The best part is that you didn’t even have to hunt them down. The team handed out Mokoko items to everyone who entered the kiosk and performed the MMO dance for them.
Despite, and perhaps also because, seeds are notoriously hard to track in The Lost Ark (Smilegate tends to place little green specks in hard-to-reach or environment-covered areas), fans seem to readily accept the challenge of having the chance to bring Mokoko home. .
Nearly every quote retweeted in the Lost Ark account’s official announcement commented on the lamp’s appeal, and one was just an incoherent scream.
And we can’t blame them. Who wouldn’t want to glance at their nightstand and see a smiling, glowing Mokoko Seed? Being in Umarka in real life might not be such an attractive prospect for this, but given the scarcity of Lost Ark merchandise, it would probably be worth it.
In 2022, Smilegate put up several Lost Ark stores in South Korea, including one entirely dedicated to Mokoko, in honor of her anniversary, but so far no one outside of South Korea has been able to purchase these items.
Hopefully that will change soon as Lost Ark continues to grow globally and Smilegate isn’t ruling it out, contrary to the DPS meter perspective. But for now, we’ll just have to settle for the Guardians’ final raids and kick back on Arcesia Island.
While the last update was a bit quiet in terms of new classes, that won’t always be the case. Check out the list of new confirmed upcoming classes so you know how to plan ahead.
