The studio best known for its virtual reality games is developing a new action-horror game, Aliens. The new Aliens game, whose title has yet to be revealed, will tell the original Alien story, which takes place between the events of the first two Alien movies.
This new Aliens horror game is developed by Survios, the studio responsible for virtual reality games like Creed: Rise to Glory and The Walking Dead: Onslaught. According to the official site, it will feature a “seasoned veteran” who has a “vendetta against xenomorphs.”
Survios says that the game is being developed for PC, consoles, and VR, so it sounds like it won’t be exclusive to VR. The studio is building the game on Unreal Engine 5 and appears to be hiring to fill the many developer vacancies for the game.
With that in mind, it’s likely that in a few years we won’t hear anything about the new Aliens game. In the meantime, you can always play Alien: Isolation again or restart Alien: Fireteam Elite.
