SEGA has announced the Genesis Mini 2 and its North American release date.
SEGA’s new plug-and-play system will launch exclusively for Amazon on October 27. Known as Mega Drive Mini 2 outside of North America, Genesis Mini 2 is expected to include over 50 classic games, including arcade ports. Games on CD and unreleased games.

The system’s compact design will be based on the SEGA Genesis Model 2. According to the SEGA website, the following games have been confirmed for the system so far:
The console’s launch follows the top-equipped 2019 SEGA Genesis Mini. SEGA has also confirmed that previous Genesis Mini controllers are compatible with the Genesis Mini 2.
