Intel Arc graphics cards have yet to launch properly in markets outside of China, but that’s not stopping the blue team from showing off its entry-level A380 GPU while playing the latest PC games. Now the company has shared a video of its pixel pusher running Monster Hunter Rise at over 90fps, with a few caveats.
Ryan Shrout, Senior Director of Marketing and High Performance Computer Graphics, posted a video on Twitter from the game Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, shot on an Intel Arc A380 GPU. Shrout notes that the graphics card maintains frame rates above 90fps even during an “intense scenario” against one of the game’s creatures.

However, this level of performance was achieved on the Arc A380 when running the game at 1080p with the medium graphics preset. It’s unclear why Intel didn’t decide to run the game on higher settings, especially since Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak isn’t particularly demanding.
So far, there has been no indication that the Intel Arc A380 will hit stores outside of China, let alone its more powerful counterparts. Unfortunately for the blue team, the release dates for RDNA 3 and RTX 4000 are fast approaching, which could prevent your best graphics card from working on arrival.
