Next Thursday (14th) Avenue Securities is hosting the first ever Avenue Cup, the exclusive Counter Strike championship for Gamers Club, the largest esports platform in Latin America. The event, open to investment platform employees and the general public, will run until October 14 and will offer cash prizes.
There will be 12 disputation sets in total – each one sure to have a champion – and the clashes will take place on an exclusive map designed by Gamers Club that recreates the International Stock Exchange’s trading floor scenario, a Wall Street-based environment. The opening match will be hosted by Imperial, the Avenue-sponsored team has risen to reveal the card.
“The goal of this project is to take advantage of esports, especially among Counter Strike fans, to immerse yourself in the universe of the financial market. In this way, we were able to present our products and strengthen the image of Avenue, together with the sponsorship of Imperial, which was boom in the gaming world,” explains Alexander Reis, director of marketing for Avenue.
