Just a day after the first set of Skate 4 leaks surfaced via an anonymous third party on Reddit, another collection has surfaced – this time with a video. If the leak is legit, fans of the franchise now have a chance to see what the experience was like for pre-alpha players.
As explained in a post on the Gaming Leaks and Rumors subreddit, these videos are from a hacked version of the test that a user has access to.
There are four videos in total: three gameplay and an intro. A user named Parzalai was posting a pirated version on his YouTube channel, but EA seems to have managed to cut the stream for a long time.
According to Parzalai, the test “requires a lot of work, of course”, which is probably not surprising since this is a very early version of the game. They praised the “buggy” ragdoll physics but fun and “simple” animations already implemented in game. Stunts are “awesome” but can be tricky. Plus, they included a section dedicated just to walking in the park, which was “much better” than previous iterations.
Links to current video locations in Google Drive can be found in the Reddit post. They can still be consulted at the time of writing. Most are short and feature non-woven designs on a lightly textured skatepark board.
Another leak earlier this week revealed details about the game’s progression and map, hinting at an October release.
EA has yet to confirm that any of the leaks are real.
