Streamers Are Doing Nightmare Phasmophobia Races For Charity

If you tried Phasmophobia’s speedruns during Summer Games Done Quick, you’re in luck. From August 21-27, women’s speedrun Frame Fatales will host their annual Flame Fatales marathon with Summer Games Done Quick, headlined by speedrun Phasmophobia. It goes a bit further than the SGDQ speedrun. The Flame Fatales promise any passage, on Nightmare difficulty.

During the June event, speedster Broscentia and her party tried to clear all the small Phasmophobia cards as quickly as possible, though not necessarily in Nightmare Mode.

I never dared to try the Nightmare difficulty, and for good reason. Long hunts, lack of preparation time, and ghosts changing their preferred habitats are just a few of the factors that add to the difficulty. Even though I’ve played the ghost game regularly all year, I still regularly confuse my Oni and Genies. It’s basically a recipe for disaster for me, but I can’t wait for Flame Fatales to succeed.

Most sprinters who test Nightmare maps aim for a perfect or 100% run, which typically takes between six minutes on smaller maps and 10 minutes on more complex maps like Prison.

The Flame Fatales event will also include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and Stardew Valley. Proceeds are donated to the Malala Foundation to help provide safe, quality education to girls around the world. The group will also be hosting a Frost Fatales event once winter hits.

The recent update and overhaul of the truck to accommodate items should make planning Flame Fatales easier for you, and you’ll need all the help you can get if you run into Deogen’s spooky new ghost. You can actually see that ghost next to Dead by Daylight chasing you, which is about as scary as it gets.
