Fortnite and Overwatch 2 aren’t necessarily games you create, but that won’t stop the creative community from creating a Fortnite map that puts Activision Blizzard’s new shooter hero into Epic’s battle royale. In this creative new map, players compete in teams of five, and as well as looking stunningly beautiful, it also looks like an explosive game and was created by someone who has quite a bit of experience creating fun cards.
Redditor Augusto-Afiune has been making maps like this for a while now, and the latest is a 6v6 iteration where players escort a battle bus through some clearly visible Fortnite buildings. However, this new map is different and takes place in a small town with Japanese-style architecture. The streets are lined with trees, the abundance of rooftops invites parkour, and of course there are plenty of lanes to attack from.
You can even choose from five different classes: Duelist, Witch, Tank, Initiator, and Support. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses, as well as unique ultimate abilities. It’s a great idea and, if you have a large enough gaming group, a great way to play Overwatch 2 without having access to the beta.
Fortnite crafting has gotten some improvements lately, mostly through major updates including a new item placement device. This mode has been a real asset to the game for a long time, but the more tools that are added, the more we can play around with Spider-Man cards and the like. It would be nice if more people could generate card codes for their creations.
As for other Fortnite news, Overshield could very well be receiving a buff that could completely change the course of the game and leave us all in a much more aggressive game.
