WoW’s latest raid tweak has weakened Tomb of the First, again

World of Warcraft’s final raid is typically more difficult than previous raids in the expansion, as you’d expect from a major final battle. There’s usually a big gap between the final release of content and the next expansion, and that helps WoW guilds stay involved in the game with something meaty while they wait. The latest Shadowlands raid, Sepulcher of the Firsts, seems to have overdone it. As we previously reported in the last round of raid setup, only 264 guilds completed the full raid on Mythic difficulty. After the latest round of nerfs, that number jumped to 443. That’s a respectable number, but still well short of the 700+ that defeated Ny’alotha, the Waking City, the last raid of the predecessor expansion to the venerable MMORPG. , to indicate this. .

This set of mythic nerfs targets four bosses, three of which were also nerfed last time. You can find the full notes on the Blizzard WoW forums, but these are the most significant changes.

WoW Shadowlands Mythic Raid Disadvantages

Anduin

Little kid Varian Wrynn had his health and movement speed reduced by adding Hope and Doubt on Heroic and Normal difficulty, and Grim Reflections, the deadliest enemy, had his Grim Destiny cast speed buff reduced from 200% to 150 % on mythic difficulty.

lords of terror

Everyone’s favorite demonic power couple, Mal’Ganis and Kin’tessa, lose health (literally 10% less) on all difficulty levels. Additionally, his Swarm of Decay and Swarm of Darkness DoTs have been reduced by 15% on Heroic difficulty.

Raygelon

Algalon would be ashamed. In addition to the above debuffs, Rygelon had an additional 10% health debuff on all difficulty levels, as well as 75% Dark Eruption damage reduction on Heroic.

Prisoner

Shadowlands Grand Mal is a bit smaller and not too bad after a lot of nerfs. He received health reductions to varying degrees on all difficulties, and Azerite Surge and Chains of Anguish damage was reduced on Mythic, Chainbreaker on Heroic, and Rune of Doom and Crushing Blast on all difficulty levels.

But we still have not finished. Dominion now procs at higher Tyranny stacks, Assassin no longer causes knockback on Heroic and Mythic, Dominion Rune is used less on Mythic, and Restraint Rune on Heroic and Overwhelming Will on Mythic absorbs less damage.

Additionally, the mythic ability Azerite Radiance grants more healing and damage to those hit, and heals Azeroth slightly more.

This is a big difference from the last stage of the raid build. If you’re more in the mood for post-raid frivolity, weakened or not, Darkmoon Faire’s new DDR dance game should be for you.
