One of the most popular mods for Skyrim is Skyrim Together, which adds cooperative multiplayer to Bethesda’s RPG. However, Skyrim’s multiplayer mod has long been in need of an overhaul, and Team Together confirms that it will finally release on July 8, so it won’t be long.
The popular mod that turns Skyrim into a cooperative game has seen some delays and controversies in recent years, but now the Skyrim Together Reborn mod release date has been confirmed and it’s just a few days away, more specifically, Friday the 8th of December. July at 5pm BST/12pm EST/9am PT.
According to the team, this will be the open source 1.0 version of the mod. Among the many features in this updated version are fully synchronized NPCs, quests, dialogues, lockpicks, horses, and items. Werewolf or vampire forms are also supported. Dying player no longer reloads a previous save, but players respawn nearby like in GTA Online. The only thing missing from 1.0 seems to be synced weather and player benchmarks, and they’ll be coming “in an update in the near future.”
The mod will be available on Nexus Mods on July 8th and the servers will be available as well. You can watch the recent video below to understand how the new mod works.
The bad news is that the Fallout Together multiplayer mod from the same team is currently on hold, although it’s not “canceled”. You’ll need to play Fallout 76 or another multiplayer mod to get the Fallout co-op patch if Skyrim isn’t for you.
As for other awesome Skyrim mod news, someone has integrated Hogwarts Legacy into the game.
