NieR: Automata records over 6.5 million sales

NieR: Automata gathered sales for good 6.5 million copies Summing up results from PC, PS4 and Xbox One: Square Enix has updated the game’s numbers on its official website.

The news comes minutes after the announcement of NieR: Automata for Nintendo Switch with the richest End of YoRHa Edition, which includes all DLC locally and will be available on the Japanese hybrid console from October 6th.

Exactly one year ago, NieR: Automata’s total sales reached nearly 6 million copies, meaning the game has managed to place another 500,000 units in the last few months.

First released in March 2017, NieR: Automata surprised everyone with a very different approach. gameplayIt replaces completely different episodes with a crazy and fabulous mix, depending on the type of belonging.

But a few months ago, the official anime of NieR: Automata was also announced, which will further popularize the universe created by Yoko Taro for a sequel that fans have been wanting for a while.
