Konami has announced that the Super Bomberman R 2 is on the way and will be released next year.
The new version of Konami 2017 Super Bomberman R has been announced. Super Bomberman R 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, revealed as part of the Nintendo Direct mini: Partner Showcase | It will be released on S and Steam.
According to the gameplay trailer, Super Bomberman R 2 will feature an all-new “Fortress” battle mode that allows players to build a defense on the side of the fortress and protect it from attackers. Additionally, the game’s story mode will be expanded with exploration, base building, boss battles and more.
Other battle modes appearing include Classic Battle Mode, Grand Prix 3v3 Team Battle Mode, and the new Battle Royale Battle 64 mode, which combines up to 64 players for a devastating showdown.
The trailer also promises to sound an “incredible amount of content” that the game will “break your mind.”
Super Bomberman R 2 does not yet have a release date, but is currently scheduled to launch in 2023 next year. Be sure to watch the trailer above to see what happens.
