Cyberpunk 2077 is powered by AMD FSR 2.0 thanks to the efforts of modders and open source software. Although not optimized for dystopian shooters, the third-party scaling solution should help gaming PCs achieve better image quality with a slight drop in performance.

Tested by Techpowerup, Cyberpunk 2077 mod uses existing Nvidia DLSS files to allow compatibility with AMD FSR 2.0, as it uses its competitor’s algorithm. The post notes that all DLSS-enabled builds should theoretically support the FSR mod, but some games will require manual configuration.

Using FSR 2.0 comes with performance limitations, but the software still allows gamers to increase frame rates and improve image quality. Techpowerup notes a slight drop in frame rate compared to FSR 1.0, resulting in noticeably sharper images. Unfortunately, the mod also includes some quirks, as driving a car creates a halo effect.

Cyberpunk 2077 already supports Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR, but the 2.0 update may help more players improve the game. It should be noted that the green team scaler only works on RTX graphics cards, so enabling FSR 2.0 is a boon for the older but compatible GeForce GPUs like the GTX 1080.

If you are planning to play CD Projekt Red FPS game on best gaming monitor then you can try this FSR 2.0 mod. Projects like this flying map mod can also give you a reason to come back, and you can even travel the streets while listening to the FFXIV radio.

If you prefer to roam the sci-fi streets like a cat, you can check out the Stray system requirements as the recommended specs of the upcoming futuristic cat adventure will make your car purr.
