On Tuesday (21), Ubisoft revealed that the Six Major will be taking place in Berlin, the capital of Germany, in August. The competition, scheduled to run from the 15th to the 21st of the month, will bring together 16 teams from the four main Rainbow Six Siege regions and award points for participation in the Six Invitational 2023. The total prize pool is $500,000.

The competition is held in the same format as the previous edition and is held in two stages. The initial stage, the group stage, will not be attended by the public and will consist of 16 teams divided into four groups, the top two teams from each of which will advance to the playoffs. In the second half, the top eight teams meet in knockout games.
This will be the first time Berlin has hosted an international sporting event, and the third time a major has been hosted by a European country. Previously, Paris, France and Gelvé, Sweden hosted major tournaments in 2018 and November 2021, respectively.
