The Minecraft Marketplace is full of fun microtransactions.

Minecraft allows players to express themselves however they want, making it one of the best sandbox games available. You can play how you want, look how you want, and with the myriad of Minecraft mods, even change every little thing to look how you want. Much of it is free if you have purchased the game. Things get a little darker when it comes to the Minecraft Marketplace, where money changes hands.

The Minecraft Marketplace has been around for a while, but since it’s only available in the Bedrock and console versions of the game, many Java gamers aren’t familiar with it. However, things are different now that both versions are in the same place. As more and more people become familiar with the Minecraft Marketplace, it’s no wonder there are some issues getting started.

Redditor Boredbud04 uploaded a short video showing some of the “reverse items” on the market. These are cosmetic items that take up space that is not normally used and can add some flair to your characters. However, unlike many skins, they’re also a bit more flashy because they change the shape of your character. Although some of them are just wings, it’s hard not to notice how big they are when they start to get in the way of the market display.

The biggest offender by all accounts is Inner Ghosts, pink, which Boredbud04 highlights in second place. If you’ll pardon the Fortnite terminology, this part of the back panel would take up the entire screen if it were in the center. This seems to be a big problem if you play multiplayer games as you can easily fool people just by standing in front of them. All of this costs money, which isn’t inherently a problem since someone has gone out of their way to do it, but it seems a bit inconvenient.
