The mask quest will take place about halfway through the game when searching for Aloe Poseidon. This is a 22 level quest set in Las Vegas where Morlund of the Tower of Tears asks him to help you make a diving mask. Aloy will then have to gather three supplies: a can of compressed air, a car ball joint and a synthetic membrane.
A compressed air capsule can be obtained by entering a flooded elevator shaft marked in the middle with a diving bell. Next, players will need to search for cars to get the other two pieces. Bellowbacks will have a synthetic membrane, while Leapslashers will have a ball joint. By purchasing all three components, you will be able to get your own diving mask.
