Turn-based strategy game Humankind is getting a console version with pre-orders now live. Here’s what you need to know.
Humankind, a 4X civilization style game, was released on PC last year. Players lead civilization through story phases, gathering resources, declaring territories, expanding cities, and more. All of the types of civilizations players can choose from are based on historical societies, each with their own bonuses and penalties.
However, as so often in any growing society, war and conflict are inevitable. Players can build up their military strength, defend their territory and conquer others. Battles can last for days or even years in long, hard-won battles.
Until now, Humankind was only available on Windows PC and MacOS. Now, the console version is set to release on November 4, 2022. Pre-orders for the game are already live – here’s what’s included in each release.
