Vagrant’s system requirements won’t stop you from exploring futuristic alleyways as a lovable cat, but you might want to check your settings before diving in. Fortunately, while the in-game cityscapes are impressive, you won’t need an Nvidia RTX. graphics card to immerse yourself in this cyberpunk adventure.
According to BlueTwelve Studio System Requirements for Vagabonds, you can run the game on an Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti, a GPU almost a decade old. Naturally, you’ll need something newer to play on higher settings, but the developer recommends a GTX 780 so you don’t have to splurge on a better graphics card anyway.
In terms of RAM, you’ll need at least an 8GB gaming PC to run like a cat. While the game’s memory requirements are reasonable, you may need to update your installation if it’s a slightly older version. You’ll also only need 10GB of space to install Stray, which means you don’t necessarily need the best SSD to play games.
The Stray is currently available for pre-order on Steam, but Valve has not confirmed Steam Deck compatibility. However, full game controller support and lenient system requirements mean it’s likely to make it to the tested list of portable powerhouses.
