Yelan’s elemental skill allows him to move quickly and blast opponents across the arena into Hydro DMG with damage that goes beyond his Max HP. Elemental Burst applies AoE Hydro DMG damage based on his Max HP and converts all basic attack damage to Hydro DMG. As a secondary DPS, players want to prioritize Yelan’s elemental blast to deal fast AoE base damage, followed by his elemental ability, followed by his base attack. If built as the main DPS unit, players can focus on their basic attack down to basic skills.
When it comes to artifacts, players have several different artifact sets to choose from, as Yellan lowers HP and deals damage with his elemental breath. Like Sub-DPS, the 4-piece Severed Fate Emblem works better as it gives him an energy charge and increases the damage dealt by his elemental blast. As a primary DPS, players want to use Millelith 2 Pieces Tenacity to deal additional HP damage to increase 2 Pieces Heart of Depth to increase Hydro DPS.
For some Artifacts, players should use the Hydro DMG Cup, HP% Sands and CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG Circlet depending on which one needs it the most. For half stats, players should prioritize Power Charge, HP Percentage, CRIT Rate, and HSR.
Like primary or secondary DPS, Yelan’s best weapon is the Aqua Simulacra, a new 5-star bow that increases HP and scales with proximity to opponents, making it a perfect choice for Yelan’s team. Players can replace this bow with Polar Star, Thundering Pulse, or The Stringless if built as a Polar Star, Thundering Pulse, or Main DPS, or for a Polar Star, Elegy for End, or Favonius Warbow Sub DPS build.
