Escape from Tarkov: Arena, An Indie War Simulator Shooter Announcement and Trailer for PC

Battlestate Games is gearing up for an authentic battle of modern gladiators for release on PC this year.

Surprisingly, the Russian team at Battlestate Games presents Escape from Tarkov: Arena, a standalone title from the beloved military-themed action-tactical video game. Described in the first teaser trailer as a first-person multiplayer shooter where you have to take sides in a kind of war between modern gladiators organized by the mysterious group of Arena Masters led by The Host.

Details on the video game are still a bit short, but they do allow us to take a look at a recommendation. PvP and cooperative game modeswith game structure based on “sessions”. That way, we can expect the classic offering in team deathmatch multiplayer shooters, though we’ll have to wait for Battlestate Games to talk in-depth about FPS.

Despite being standalone from the original video game, Battlestate Games promises links for regular users of Escape from Tarkov. So they will be able to unlock unique weapons and equipment and even play with their own characters in the battle simulator. It will also be free for those who buy the Edge of Darkness Limited Edition out of the box, with a selling price of 109.99 euros. In other words, Escape from Tarkov will not be free for users.

Accompanying the news, you can see the first gameplay preview of the video game and a few pictures. The shooter is guaranteed to have the much-loved mechanics of the original game. No release date, but expected release of Escape from Tarkov: Arena first phase of public testing on PC this fall.
