Splitgate Beta Season 2 is now available

Splitgate Beta Season 2 has been released to allow players to continue the game. The portal jump shooter has received a major update bringing new features highlighted by new battle passes, new maps, game modes game and a whole new match system. Here’s everything you need to know about Splitgate Season 2, which is out now.

Although Splitgate has been online since 2019, it only launched the already adopted seasonal system and many other free games in January. It didn’t really pick up steam until late 2021 when the Season 1 update kicked off this new lifecycle for this Splitgate.

Splitgate Season 2 brings both quality of life updates and in-game updates. Perhaps the most important thing added in Splitgate Season 2 is the updated match system. This new system aims to eliminate the number of bots players will encounter in multiplayer matches, meaning that high-level play must now be almost entirely against the player.

Many maps have been redesigned or introduced for the first time, giving players a deeper gameplay experience with more animated walls and a variety of choices as they play. Launched three new game modes for a total of 23 different modes. Additionally, there is now an in-game map generator that you can share with your friends via a download code to play the matches.

Of course, there are also brand new rewards for the brand new Splitgate Battle Passes. The Season 2 Battle Pass includes 100 reward tiers up to Pro 10. Splitgate is free to play on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
