V Rising Server Guide

In V Rising, each server exists as its own independent and expansive open world, allowing players to move freely between regions, navigate and battle different NPCs as they learn, and find resources and items to upgrade their castles.

Although the core gameplay is the same, V Rising offers a variety of PvE and PvP servers between players.

Here is the breakdown of server settings in V Rising.

Online servers are available in official and player formats, are located in several different regions, have no region locks, no wipes (currently), and can host up to 255 players at a time.

When you join public servers, you are likely to encounter players you did not intend to complete, which adds an interesting layer to the game. The world is full of interesting creatures and locations, and these locations can be a draw where you are more likely to encounter other vampires. Choose to cooperate with them and share the spoils of slaying a rare or powerful beast, or maybe they haven’t been back to their castles in a long time and their inventory is full of valuable resources to steal. This might motivate you to use their attention span instead of killing the player.

In addition to the server browser, Online Play also offers four server playlists that players can join:

It should be a dynamic interaction of excitement and tension and may even lead to moments of business or diplomacy.

As a result, Stunlock Studios has also long focused on allowing players to have private servers and play solo and co-op in a less competitive environment or go full-time PvP. With over 60 different game settings that can be configured, there are dedicated servers where players can “let their dark imaginations run wild”.

Personal game hosting means you modify and run the game locally from your computer, essentially inviting others to create a character and play in your personal game file. Therefore, the host must have a reliable internet connection. Also, when a local home team leaves the game, they will not continue without it. Everything else will hit.

Personal game mode also allows players to play V Rising offline as of patch 0.5.41448:

  1. Select “Steam” in the upper left corner of Steam
  2. Choose “Cross”
  3. Run V Rising
  4. Choose “Play”
  5. Choose “Personal game”
  6. Check the box next to “LAN Server”
  7. დაწყStart game

Finally, as the name suggests, Dedicated Servers are designed for those who are most dedicated to the game and want full control over their own V Rising world.

Unlike private games, dedicated servers do not require their host to play the game to stay online. Additionally, private servers can be deployed on any computer, allowing hosts to manage the server on one computer and play the game on another, creating a better overall experience.

To host a dedicated server in V Rising, players can install it on any computer with SteamCMD or Steam, or rent it from the official GPortal.

With GPortal, players can choose from three server plans that best suit their needs or create their own configuration. In exchange for ease of use and high performance, the downside is that you have to pay for the course.

V Rising is now available for Windows PC with Steam Early Access. For more information on the game, do not hesitate to read our other guides:
