As you level up as a vampire, dropping new items and bosses, Paper will be an essential resource for winning V Rising early and often. Paper is a resource that unlocks almost every other resource in the game. You will need paper for almost every new item discovered in the research board that unlocks castle structures, enchantment, weapons, armor, etc. In addition, the paper can be used for scrolling, which will be used for higher level research and better items.
At the start of the game, you can get the paper quite easily by eliminating enemies in bandit camps or by looting chests and barrels found for you. However, by doing this, you will definitely get a lot of paper. You will only need three plant fibers and nine sawdust to make one leaf. You will need a paper press to make the paper.
Making a paper press is also quite simple. You don’t need to hire a V Blood Boss to unlock the ability to create your own paperweight. Crafting a paper press will require 12 brass and 12 boards to complete; both of these resources are early game resources that should be easy to use before you own gear.
