Choose the right game mode
There are many different V Rising server settings to choose from before you join the game. Here’s a rough breakdown of what they mean. First, your starting base must be temporary. While it’s important to have storage space while fighting in your starting region, you don’t want to set up here all the time because it’s too far from any bountiful sources of rare materials.
Second, when you build a true vampire castle, do so with expansion in mind. Quickly move the boundaries, then deal with the walls. After that, place one of each major machine before blocking off areas for different types of production. Feel free to build multiple machines of the same type side by side, as this will save you a lot of time waiting for long processes to complete.

Since V Rising is a persistent survival game, your character and castle stay on the server even if you are offline. If you made the mistake of logging off and leaving your vampire out in the open, it’s probably already turned into a pile of ash. You can protect your vampire by building a coffin at your base and then logging out while you rest inside.
Never waste materials
V Rising is that rare kind of creation game where the content stays relevant until the very end of the game, so never waste resources if you can help. Instead, invest upfront by building a few chests in your base and you should have enough room to stack all the materials in the game.
Keep your hearts immaculate
There are several different hearts in V Rising, most of which can be bitten by yourself huh heart contents. However, Pure Hearts, which can drop from any monster in the game, are very valuable for creating more V Rising Blood Essence, so keep them in a chest for safekeeping until you open the blood press.
Hunt V blood carriers in order

Most people and creatures in V Rising have one of six different blood types, and as you eat, your blood type will change depending on what or who you just ate. For example, if you drink the blood of a scientist, you will receive a number of passive benefits, such as increased spell power and a faster cooldown. However, if you eat deer, you will have faster movement, better sun resistance, and higher damage resistance.
The quality of the blood also matters. If the worker you just ate has 4% blood quality, you will only be rewarded with a single passive buff from the worker’s blood type perk pool. On the other hand, if you’re lucky and find someone with 100% blood quality, you’ll get all five passive buffs for their blood type.
This isn’t a big factor early on, as you’ll need to feed on people whenever and wherever you can, meaning your benefits will never be permanent. You will eventually be able to get blood from captured people though, so it’s good to familiarize yourself with the system early in the campaign so you know what to look out for when collecting prisoners for your blood bank later on.
Use the right tools and the right blood types
While you can’t hold the same blood type for an extended period of time when you start out, you can temporarily become a much more efficient collector by capturing working blood when you know you’re going to be collecting a lot. Make sure you’re also using the correct V Rising weapon for the gear you collect. Axes cut wood faster, swords and sabers cut vegetation better, and maces increase stone and ore production.

When raiding towns and bandit camps, make sure to open all destructible items, as they can all contain loot.
What to do with the money
When you pick up silver coins for the first time, you will notice that they take damage. This is because silver is considered pure, making it effective against impure forces such as werewolves and vampires. Although you can’t touch it at the beginning of the game, you can eventually get items and armor that increase your resistance to money, allowing you to accumulate this currency.
Obviously, the human merchants are hostile, so the only way to buy anything with your money is to hunt down a boss named Beatrice the Tailor and feed her, which opens up the ability to impersonate a human.
How to teleport without losing gear
