On Monday, Ubisoft released a statement revealing that w7m esports, Team oNe and FURIA will play the group stage of the Six Major Charlotte in Mexico remotely. The decision is due to the fact that the teams did not receive a visa to enter the United States on time and because of this they will have to play the first stage of the Rainbow Six Siege World Championship in a Latin American country.

Thus, in Charlotte, in the USA, only Team Liquid will be present at the debate on the opening games of the Major. The tournament’s host company stated that they are “working hard to provide the best possible experience for everyone”.

The Six Major Charlotte will start next Monday (16) with a group stage, without the public present. There will be fans in the playoffs scheduled for Friday (20). This will be the first international tournament since the Six Invitational 2020, held in Montreal, Canada, in which spectators will take part.
