Since launching on Paramount, the Halo series has left some fans of the franchise frustrated with its storytelling choices, especially the decision to remove the Master Chief’s helmet. This time the reason for the upset is that the Spartan had sex in the eighth episode of the series, which aired last Thursday (12).
In the scene, the Chief is with a man created by the Covenant – an alien race that seeks to exterminate people – named Macke, and the relationship between them begins to heat up. At the same time, Cortana, the artificial intelligence that accompanies the character in games and TV shows, is in the background and watches everything. Although the series features very violent action scenes and has been censored in the United States for 16 years, the relationship is not shown directly, with only some kissing and Chef’s buttocks, played by actor Pablo Schreiber.
After revealing the super soldier’s face and his intimate moment of love, it’s unknown if Paramount and the show’s directors have any new surprises in store for the final episode of the first season, which premieres May 19. It’s worth remembering that a second season of Halo was already confirmed before it premiered.
