How do you follow an enemy to the forbidden west of the horizon?

Horizon Forbidden West takes players through breathtaking landscapes, and highlighting enemy trails can benefit many. A guide on how to spot enemy tracks in Horizon Forbidden West.

The game’s protagonist, Aloe, wears a small device on her face that displays useful information such as enemy tracks. When players use the device, they enter focus mode.

To enter focus mode, players must hold down R3, the right analog stick. The stage will slide and be covered with a net.

To further highlight enemy tracks, mark enemies with R2 and select the part of the target you want to target using the left and right arrow keys on the d-pad.

Players can also see information about their enemies. Move the cursor over the target in the middle of the screen and information about the enemy will appear. This way you can detect any enemy weakness and vulnerable body parts.

Focus mode also marks climbing walls and cliffs if players stop where they are going.

Horizon Forbidden West is now only playable on PS4 and PS5 platforms.
