miHoYo announced Zenless Zone Zeroa action RPG with “urban fantasy” setting For PC, iOS and Android smartphones and other platforms not yet announced (therefore, launch on consoles is not excluded). Accompanied by the description game trailer and a series of images from the authors of Genshin Impact, offering a look at the new game’s characters, gameplay and graphic style. No release time has been specified at this time, but it’s possible to sign up for the closed beta now.
According to the official statement shared by MiHoYo, “Zenless Zone Zero is a new IP set in a post-apocalyptic metropolitan city. It features an immersive story with a futuristic art style, distinctive characters and a fun action-oriented combat system. Players will play the role of a “Proxy” and conquer unknown enemies and Embark on an adventure with a diverse group of partners to unravel the mysteries of New Eridu, the ultimate refuge of urban civilization.
“Contemporary civilization” was destroyed by a supernatural disaster known as the Hollows. “These creatures suddenly grow exponentially and create irregular dimensions where mysterious monsters nicknamed “Ethereal” roam. New Eridu, the last urban civilization to survive the apocalypse, has succeeded in thriving by acquiring the technology to extract valuable resources from the Hollows.”
