According to the latest Indie World Expo, Mini Highways is making the jump to the Nintendo Switch.
Thanks to a new Indie Games Showcase earlier this week, Nintendo Switch gamers have a new source of indie games they may not have noticed before. One of them is Mini Highways, a game that focuses on city traffic veins and driving.
Mini Highways is a strategy simulation game built around a growing roadmap for a noisy cityscape. Players build roads, traffic nodes, and more as their cities grow and grow. Be aware, however, that the larger the city, the more difficult it will be to maintain good traffic from one end to the other. The object of the game is to keep things as long as possible.
The game was created by Dinosaur Polo Club and was first released on Apple Arcade in 2019 and on PC via Steam on July 20, 2021. It currently costs $9.99.
Mini Highways are now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop. It was revealed yesterday after the May 11 Indie Showcase and can be purchased for $14.99.
That’s not unusual for Nintendo, and it won’t be the first time the company has released multiple games shown at the show. Mini Highways are one of the few vehicles currently available following last week’s demo on the eShop.
After a successful purchase, players can download the software and run it directly in the game without any issues.
