According to the leak, a new Nintendo Indie World show could take place this week.
The indie scene is booming lately. Jewels big and small are taking the world by storm, forcing Nintendo to deliver something exciting to the next indie world. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an exhibition like this from Nintendo, the last presentation at an independent stand was in December last year.
For starters, Nintendo’s Indie World Expo operates similarly to Nintendo Direct, except for its focus on indie games. Usually, these presentations highlight games planned for consoles in the near future.
According to some recent leaks, the next exhibition could take place this week.
The leak was reported on Famiboards by Reddit user LinkWink, where insider Emily Rogers left the following reference:
“Is there a fan of indie games here? And NateDrake is awesome.
Admittedly, it doesn’t look like much – if anything. However, LinkWink noted how Rogers announced the events earlier. “It’s not a direct endorsement, but it was announced the last time Emily mentioned the indie show in December. after a while.“
If Rogers is still right, it probably won’t be long before Nintendo makes an official announcement.
