Updating from one version to another: Details
Upgrade from any digital edition to a collector’s edition (physical)
If you purchase a digital copy of Dragonflight (Base, Heroic, or Epic) and later upgrade to the Collector’s Edition, you will automatically be credited with the digital version to your Blizzard Wallet (provided you enter the key of the collector’s version before it expires). When you enter the Collector’s Issue Key, the original transaction will be seen in your account by Blizzard and the credit will be added automatically.
Upgrade from Base Edition to Heroic Edition or Epic Edition then Collector
If you purchase the base version of Dragonflight, then upgrade to the Heroic or Epic Edition, then upgrade to the Collector’s (Physical) Edition, the amount paid for the purchase of the base version will be transferred to your Blizzard currency.
Upgrade from Heroic Edition to Epic Edition then Collector
If you purchase the Heroic Edition of Dragonflight, then upgrade to the Epic Edition, then upgrade to the (Physical) Collector’s Edition, your Blizzard Wallet will accumulate the amount you paid when purchasing the Heroic Edition.
Upgrade from Base Edition to Heroic Edition or Epic Edition
If you purchase the base edition of Dragonflight, you can upgrade to either the Heroic Edition or the Epic Edition for the difference between the two editions.
